A Truth Journal: Our Freedom: Living Courage, Dying For Honor: Celebrating Vietnam War USMC GSGT Charles "Chuck" Perkins: From Denny:  Today is more than just that long needed holiday vacation with the family, fun backyard barbecues and country music festivals.  It's one of those few days of the year that Americans come together to remember the fallen in our too many wars over the past few centuries of our young country.

Some of those wars were justified for the greater good to bring back world peace.  Other wars spilled precious blood for nothing more than the Pentagon leaders' selfish need for personal glory and the just plain money-grubbing greed of business people:  otherwise known as war profiteers.

Profiteers and War and Bad Politics 

FYI, for those who don't remember or don't know:  The Vietnam War was a proxy war between the U. S. and Russia.  Russia backed North Vietnam and the U. S. backed South Vietnam.

"Feeding the Beast" of Russia with American Money 

Profiteers are still with us today, not just the Vietnam War era.  Take a look at how our current day Pentagon is busy "feeding the military beast" of Russia.  The latest nonsense is giving away half a billion dollars to the Russians in exchange for Russian rocket engines that you know Putin will sabotage.  Come on, really?  Putin is supposed to be under sanctions, and, yet, our Pentagon and Congress find a way to feed his ailing economy another $500 million???  The sanctions won't work as long as the Pentagon, Congress and Wall Street cockroach around them...

A Truth Journal: Hey, DNI Clapper: Demand Agency Heads Change Profile of IC Hiring To Get Real Productivity: From Denny:  Listen, Clapper, if your intelligence agency heads keep sending you the same profile over and over, as they have been doing for some time now, quit getting angry about it and just fire their lazy asses.  They are still operating on the outmoded and unsuccessful game plan of Andrew Marshall who seriously F'd up both the military and intelligence communities for the past 60 years.  The Andrew Marshall idea was to hire just the very young, because, he reasoned, they were the easiest to fool and the easiest to control both mentally and physically.  Seriously?

You just can't keep hiring young IT people.  Young people don't belong in the ugly intelligence business.  IT people are the worst choice because they have rarely developed any people skills.  That isn't how their brains move in real time. They certainly don't have much life experience yet either.  The skills they do have for technology is great but you only need a handful of them compared to requiring legions of critical thinkers, and, yes, to a lesser extent, some analytical thinkers.

The field you should be looking at are the Baby Boomers and older.  What a shocking revelation?  That's right; you should be pulling from the 55 - 85 age group, as long as their minds are sharp.  You can teach IT skills to most of them who would be delighted to learn it.  Many of them are either underemployed and bored or outright retired and bored, wanting new challenges.  And, guess what, they would not be frittering away their days collecting dick pics and spying on nude celebrities like at the NSA...

A Truth Journal: Is Pentagon Misusing Federal Funds To Extort More Money From U. S. Taxpayers?: *** Updated Photo *** From Denny:  Check out the latest from the BS Artists of the Pentagon in the form of the military newspaper, the Stars and Stripes.  You remember those guys.  They are the ones patting themselves on the back - with excessive celebration - for taking down so-called liberal NBC News anchor Brian Williams.  Straight from the Haters Corner.

So, what's the latest from the Propaganda News rag?  Yes, that's what we high school kids all dubbed it decades ago, military kids and civilian ones alike, when we were growing up overseas.  You see, it was one of the few English language publications available to read in Asia so we read it religiously.

Of course, anyone who regularly reads the Pentagon's propaganda baby, the Stars and Stripes, has learned to "read the subtext agenda." The Pentagon leadership has always used this federally funded newspaper to push their own agenda, lies, hatchet jobs on their Scapegoat du Jour and many more tantalizing tidbits as they unconsciously reveal the hidden military relationships of graft and corruption.  It's very entertaining reading...

A Truth Journal: Brian Williams: What's The WHOLE BS Story? It's Not What You Think: From Denny:  Now that the Haters have enjoyed dancing on the head of former NBC News anchor Brian Williams it's time for the reasonable types to speak up and get heard for a change - without all the histrionics and chest thumping self-righteousness hogging the national attention.

Observing how this ugly journalism  drama has played out it sure makes me glad I never got involved on that national level of the Dog and Pony Show, choosing another path.

And, as a small niche journalist blogger that gets read more by world intelligence agencies, think tanks, world diplomatic corps and military - along with political junkies like myself and heavy-breathing journalists who desperately want the opportunity to be journalists again -
I'm free to state the obvious that the networks and big news agencies quash: dissent...

A Truth Journal: Swift Boating POW Bergdahl: Smelly Pentagon War Crimes Cover-Up?: From Denny:  Well, blabbermouth Fox "News" is drooling at the prospect of destroying a recently returned POW - and they are doing it with malicious glee.  Fox News has always had the reputation as Swift Boaters, quick to lie about others, when an accounting of all of the facts proves them inaccurate time and again.  Their military "sources" - read that as pals who are partners in crime - at the Pentagon planted this story with Fox "News" of how the Pentagon wants to charge POW Bergdahl with desertion.

You see, according to Fox "News" the Pentagon sees this as a "win-win."  The Pentagon got it in their little pointed heads that if they send out a retired military guy to spout their stupidity that it doesn't really count against them.  Seriously?  What drugs are these guys taking that so badly clouds good judgment?

The Pentagon political animals know they can only plant stories as trial balloons with Fox "News" because any other responsible news agency or network would start with the barrage of questions to flesh out the story in its entirety.  The Pentagon knows Fox "News" doesn't have any allegiance to compassion for POW Bergdahl - or the Truth. 

Of course, Rupert Murdock, owner of Fox "News," is known for lying and stirring the pot to promote yet more lies to get market share derived from the manufactured controversy.  Like any yellow "journalism" tabloid owner Murdock knows if he tells the lies often enough and loudly enough, eventually the mainstream media will pick up his manufactured story, achieving what Murdock wanted all along: big profits.

Murdock and the fools that follow after him to do his bidding really don't care about how many lives they destroy along the way.  For them character assassination is their daily stock and trade.  Obviously, they treat harming others like it's a malicious extreme sport.  Tabloid "reporters" are the bullies in the news services...

A Truth Journal: Veterans Day Kudos Watch: Done The Right Way, DNI Clapper Brings Home North Korean U.S. Hostages: From Denny:  Finally, President Obama decided to be more discreet in his negotiations for and retrieval of U. S. hostages without the need to dance a celebration on his enemy's head.  It's important to refrain from those celebration dances as all it does is enrage and encourage yet another hostage situation.

As both a Marine and Air Force veteran with 50 years experience in the intelligence community (IC) DNI James Clapper was the perfect choice for the job.  Why?  Because a White House official or a State Department official would have been perceived as talking heads for President Obama.

Besides, it's been tradition for decades that the more talented - and those possessing integrity engendering trust - have worked international negotiations in an unofficial diplomatic role that then easily paves the way for the State Department to gain the glory.  It's when the IC is at its best instead of relentless needless spying.  Developing relationships with people on a global scale is the way to create Peace, not endless spying that doesn't yield much useful information to help resolve issues...

A Truth Journal: How Democrats Can Win Midterm Elections? If Women Ain't Happy Then Country Ain't Happy: From Denny:  Women voters are furious at not having our issues taken seriously by either national political party.

Women voters are the foundation of the Democrat Party yet do not get the time of day to get any serious legislation passed that could actually be effective to improve the lives of all women: equal pay, higher minimum wage, dealing with abuse online and in the work place, and, let's not forget the outrageous refusal of Military Rape Rights and justice for rape victims.  Congress arrogantly rejected to renew legislation against abusing women that had been passed by former Senator, now current Vice President Joe Biden.

Why should that kind of legislation have to be renewed in the first place?  We don't see that type of temporary odious legislation imposed upon gays or African-Americans.  Why do women get kicked around on these issues of abuse and rape?

If the Democrats want to win, and win big for the midterm elections, then it's time for the Democrats - and this President - to get decisive and make a big very public show of real action. And you know I'm gonna tell you how to achieve this...

From Denny:  Voters for the Democrats, and Republicans alike, are looking all around for a political leader who will, well, lead.  Fourteen years of unadulterated insensitivity and outright political inaction geared toward the majority of the country have all combined to create a ground swell of bitter resentment and grousing that hasn't been seen in decades in this country against both political parties, especially the Republicans.

The Middle Class is fed up with insincere speeches on economic progress, the drumbeat to go to war with ground troops yet again in the Middle East and lame political platitudes on every domestic issue. The Middle Class is disgusted and angry with Wall Street hand holding.  Voters of both political parties are angry with the gentle wrist slapping of cheap fines for business crimes instead of jail time.  Most of all The Middle Class is furious at the overt Good Ol' Boy Winks of government collusion that continues to create an environment of a stagnant U. S. economy and the constant evaporation of well paying jobs in favor of feeding The Beast of Greedy Corporate Profits while starving the people...

A Truth Journal: Chasing ISIS: Why Are Republicans And Pentagon Suddenly Forcing Iraq War Two?: From Denny:  The selling of Iraq War Two to the American public was in full tilt mode on all the Sunday talk and news shows.  Retired generals and other Pentagon talking heads are selling the "need" for U. S. ground troops to kill off the ISIS insurrection.  They all claim that almost 3,000 air strikes have had zero effect upon the psyche and operational ability of the marauding Sunni ISIS group of petty thieves, drug dealers, rapists, clueless teenagers and murdering psychopaths that are hellbent upon an unrealistic goal of world domination.

I tell ya, a person really has to wonder what drugs these Pentagon guys are on, as sometimes they really believe their own fear mongering wild-eyed press briefings.  It's clear they are helping the defense contractors make money:  it's called depraved War Profiteering.  Yeah, sure looks like the spouses and family members of these Pentagon heads are on various defense contractors' board of directors like Do We Cheat 'Em And How...
